The Number 34

Let's take a look at the number thirty-four. Starting with the basics; it is the natural number following 33 and preceding 35. Ok, that was kind of obvious, what else? The writer 'Charles Stross' made a book named '34', and 'Dave Matthews Band' wrote a song called '#34'. It is the traffic code of Istanbul in Turkey, and the code for international direct-dial phone calls to Spain. It is the "Request for production" of the U.S. Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. 

Kind of boring information, but still, valid.  The jersey number 34 of NBA player Hakeem Olajuwon from the Houston Rockets, and the NFL player Walter Payton of the Chicago Bears were retired in honor of their careers. 

That is kind of cool if I knew who they were or if I cared about baseball or American Football, which I don't.

Not anything fun about the number 34?

The closest thing to interesting are a list of Internet rules (I did not know about them either...) where number 34 states: "If it exists, there is porn of it. No exceptions."

It is my birthday today. I turn 34. Not sure if it is a great number.
