Viva Las Vegas

I first came to Las Vegas in 2004 to attend a Internet conference. I remember taking the taxi from the airport and when the lights of the casinos embraced me, it felt like I was on a different planet. Las Vegas is Disney world for adults, it is the center of the universe for bad, expensive taste, and it is a very fun place to visits... for a day or two. 




I never expected that Las Vegas would turn into a very special place far beyond the visual impact of the lights. This time I am in Las Vegas, again, for a Internet conference, and when I took the cab from the airport and the lights of the casinos embraced me, I thought about my wife. I got the same feeling in my stomach as when we, almost three years ago now, came to Las Vegas, giggling and drunk on love, to get married.

Best decision I ever made.

It also the best place to get married for me, because it was only the two of us in a unique place, during a night that you cannot replicate anywhere else.
